Important security note for MacOS version
This release is not signed with an Apple Developer certificate and is not notarized. Your macOS may warn that Apple cannot verify the app or that the developer cannot be verified. Only continue if you trust the source of the app and the downloaded archive has not been modified. Please read install instructions for the MacOS version. A Little About Us
I'm a solo developer who has worked in corporate for years. In my free time, I made this game from the ground up with my family who helped me test and improve the game. I was inspired by classic retro sim-raising princess games growing up, like Princess Maker series and Cute Knight Deluxe. Princess or Not is my attempt to make a warm, strange, and replayable world where everyday choices can lead somewhere unexpected.
Full Disclosure
This game uses generative AI ONLY for its visual and a couple of audio assets. I heavily and manually edit the generated assets to fix inconsistencies and make them fit the game.
The Engine
I created the engine behind Princess or Not with the goal of improving it over time and using it to make more games. Please support the game so I can continue creating and make them available to more platforms.

Do you have any plans to release on steam?
please
Hi. Yes, releasing on steam would be really great, but I can’t afford the fee yet. Once the Princess or Not has made enough, I’ll use it to register in Steam as well as in Apple App Store.
Thank you for checking out the game!
Looking forward to it!!
Sounds like shades of princess maker in a good way -- looking forward to trying it out
Yes, it’s heavily inspired by Princess Maker!
Let me know if you need any guide with the game. Thank you for trying it out!
This is a really interesting concept. How long have you been working on it? Do you have a Discord or email for the project?
